Privacy policy
Voxi is made by ACKPlus Solutions Private Limited, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. This explains what the app and this site collect, when a recording leaves your device, when the app talks to us at all, and who else sees any of it.

Where your recordings go
It depends on which voice you pick, and the app marks the difference everywhere it appears.
- The 18 offline voices — marked in green — run entirely on your phone. The audio is never sent anywhere. There is no upload step, so there is nothing for us to store, lose or hand over.
- AI voices — marked in cyan — are rendered on a server. The single clip you chose is sent to our speech provider and the result comes back. Nothing else goes with it: not your library, not your other takes, not your other clips.
The app asks before the first AI conversion and will not send anything until you agree. You can withdraw that permission at any time in the app, and the AI voices then disappear from the picker.
When the app uses the internet
Voxi is not an offline-only app any more, so it is worth being exact about when it reaches out and what it says. Recording, playback and every offline voice work in aeroplane mode; these are the things that do not.
- Checking for updates. On launch the app asks our server whether a newer version exists. It sends the app’s package name, the platform and the version you are on. No account, no device identifier.
- Signing in. Only when you choose to, and only for AI voices and credits.
- Credits and purchases. Reading your balance and confirming a purchase with the store.
- AI conversion. The one clip you picked, described in the section above.
- Text to audio in an AI voice. The words you typed, so an AI voice can read them out. Reading them in your phone’s own voice sends nothing.
- Cloning your voice. The recording you chose for it, described below.
- Ads and analytics. Described further down. Ads pause while an unlock window earned from a rewarded ad is running.
- Writing to us. Only when you tap Send on the feedback form, or ask for a feature that is not built yet.
What happens to a clip we send for AI conversion
Our speech provider is ElevenLabs, which processes the audio on our behalf. We send the request with their retention logging switched off, so the clip is used to produce your result and not kept to train anything. We do not store the audio ourselves — it passes through our server and is not written to disk.
We keep a record that a conversion happened — the date, which voice, and the credits it cost — because that is your purchase history. That record contains no audio.
If you clone your voice
The recording you choose — one to three minutes of you speaking — is sent to ElevenLabs, which builds an AI voice from it. We also keep that recording, as a voice profile, so you can switch back to it later without recording again. It is stored privately and encrypted on our own server, linked to your account, and nobody else can hear or use it.
One profile at a time is your live voice: it is kept on our ElevenLabs account so that Text to audio can read what you type in it, and only you can use it. Making a new profile, or switching to an old one, takes the previous voice off ElevenLabs and keeps only its recording with us. Delete a profile whenever you like on Clone your voice in the app — that deletes its recording and its voice — and deleting your account deletes all of them. Only clone your own voice — see the terms.
Your account
You only need an account for AI voices and credits. Everything that runs on your phone works without one.
Signing in with Google or Apple gives us your name, email address and the provider’s user id. We use them to attach your credit balance to you, to restore purchases on a new phone, and to contact you about a purchase. We do not send marketing email. Apple’s Hide My Email relay addresses work fine.
When you write to us
The feedback form sends what you typed, the app version you are on, and your phone’s operating system version — that last pair because almost every report needs them and asking afterwards wastes both our time. When the app asks how it is going, a few days after you start using it, it also sends the face you picked; nothing goes unless you tap Send. It does not send your recordings, your library, or your phone’s model or identifier.
Your email address is optional and is used only to reply to you. Leave it blank and the report is anonymous unless you happen to be signed in, in which case it is linked to your account so we can see whether the problem is with your credits or purchases.
Tapping I want this on a feature that is not built yet records only which feature, once. It is a vote counter, not a mailing list — we do not use it to contact you.
We keep feedback while it is useful and delete it once the issue it describes is closed. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.
Purchases
Credits and monthly plans are bought in the app and charged by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to process those purchases: it receives your Voxi account identifier and the purchase from the store. We never see or store your card details — we receive only which product was bought, a transaction identifier, the price and whether it succeeded, which we use to add the credits, renew a plan and honour a refund.
Ads and analytics
The free app shows ads through Google AdMob and reports usage events through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. These tell us which screens are used and what crashed. AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier to choose ads; you can reset or limit it in your phone’s settings, and on iOS the app asks before tracking.
Neither service receives your recordings.
How long we keep things
Clips you save live on your phone and nowhere else — deleting the app deletes them. Your account, credit balance and purchase history stay until you delete your account, after which they are removed within 30 days, except where we must keep a transaction record for tax and accounting law.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The fastest route is deleting your account, which works from the app or from this site, whether or not the app is still installed. For anything else, email us and we will answer within 30 days.
Children
Voxi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Where your data is processed
Our servers are in India. Our speech provider, payment providers and analytics providers process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union, under their own terms.
Changes
If we change how any of this works we will update this page and its date. A change that materially affects what leaves your device will also be announced in the app before it takes effect.
